I got "Network Effect" and "The Murderbot Diaries Vol. 1" in Japanese because I am insane. So I guess now I'm going to read Murderbot in Japanese.

Or I am reading Murderbot in Japanese, because I was flipping pages and reading words aloud in Japanese and understanding them. That is reading. That's what it is.

I heard that the translators actually won an award for their work on the series! Or at least for the translation of All Systems Red!!! It's definitely got the kanji for award all over the little ribbon they added to the dust cover.

They definitely put a lot of thought into how different characters should speak and, I think, why they would speak that way. It's really opening my eyes on the characters and conflicts and stuff!!!
