Can't promise I will remember to update. It's been so long since I blogged in this style.

I am currently reading "Role Model" by Rachel Reid because it's due back to my library this weekend. I'm also re-reading "Fugitive Telemetry" by Martha Wells because I am obsessed.

I am editing some fanfiction and writing some new fanfiction. All of it is Murderhelion because I am a pervert.

Got sooooo many events I'm working on in real life!!! Busy busy busy!

EDIT I am dumb as hell. I'm reading "Common Goal" and not "Role Model." Honestly, it's questionable whether I can read at all.

ooh how does role model stack up to the other game changer books for you?

OK, so... HR was pretty exciting! And then I felt that Game Changers was really boring and I did not like those characters very much. In comparison, I had liked Ryan since Ilya sat next to him on a plane and that made Tough Guy really sweet plus it had that quality of childhood friends to it. I'm kind of pushing myself to read "Role Model" but I do like these characters (still not Kip, but the best part of Game Changers was the side characters and these are those side characters). Plus, I love the tropes of the older bisexual man having his first experiences.

However... There are some vibes I don't love.

I'm really interested to see what the show does with the books!!! I haven't read any of them and I won't but because this is a good and faithful adaptation (or better, I hear) I don't feel like I'm missing out. Maybe I'm wrong!

I have chronic "can't watch TV"-itis so I gotta read books for most of my entertainments

I mean, it is a romance!!! They're gonna be happy!

ALSO I AM REALIZING I wrote the wrong title. I am reading Common Goal and Role Model will be next. These titles need to be like... just a little more complex. I cannot do this two word stuff. Too easy to get mixed up.

ooh yes I loved ryan’s little scene in HR too… i might have to give role model a spin… tbh i will probably just end up reading all of them anyway but curious about the vibes 👀

Ryan is really cute!!! Just the biggest sweetheart.

I'm like halfway through Common Goal (sorry my bad about the title mixup) and the hockey guy is bisexual but the narrative keeps being like "things are sooooooooo much sexier with men than they were with his wife" and i'm like "DO NOT UN-BISEXUALIZE THIS MAN" no one is good at writing bisexuals I think maybe

do not un-bisexualize that man ughhh fr!! Someday someone will figure it out I have to believe. And yeah I just need a *little* more from the titles to differentiate them but I am jealous of RR and her uncanny ability to come up with believable hockey names like yeah no those are Hockey Guys for sure
